Audio-Visual Field Engineer

  • Deploying to project sites to test and commission a variety of audio-visual systems
  • Carrying out ‘shop’ testing and commissioning for projects not yet installed
  • Assigning IP addresses, updating firmware, loading system code
  • Coordinating with customers for site access, IP schemes, training, and walk-throughs
  • Owning the project close-out process from an engineering perspective, leading to project completion

  • Designing a wide variety of network solutions that accurately capture customer needs, including layers 2 and 3, and all major hardware manufacturers

  • Working on and off site to setup and commission network systems

Data Center Project Manager (Travel)

  • Grow MidPoint's presnece within data center accounts
  • Be involved with the interviewing and hiring of resources needed to deliver projects successfully
  • Become expert in the field to understand data center trends and become true technologist
  • Develop business acumen to support the divisions growth within the data center vertical
  • Conduct site surveys and assist in design engineering to ensure accurate/proper sales proposals
  • Perform project take-offs and complete sales estimates in preparation for project bids
  • Participate in project kickoff meetings to review scope of work and budgets with assigned project team
  • Perform pre-construction planning duties including obtaining electrical permits, submittal creation/delivery, obtaining CAD drawings & related project documents
  • Establish project goals/expectations with project team & customer to ensure the highest level of product delivery within project budget
  • In coordination with the assigned Foreman, create project schedules in sync with    construction schedules and understanding client needs
  • Review contract documents for accuracy against the project estimates
  • Create purchase requests, track delivery and stage materials
  • Track/Monitor project material from procurement to deliver

  • Regularly attend job sites with assigned Foreman to review job progress, quality control & manpower requirements

Senior Account Executive

The Sr. Account Executive will have demonstrated capabilities of performing at a high level for a period of no less than 4 years, consistently producing $4M+ in total revenue year over year. The Sr. Account Executive will have a strong understanding of “solution selling”, opportunity generation (hunter mentality), excellent communication skills both externally (clients) and internally (to Sales Manager, Division Management, Engineers/Estimators, and Executive Management), and the ability to “close” opportunities.

Structured Cabling Foreman 

Working in concert with our Project Manager and Division Manager, the SCS Foreman is an on-site technical person. This individual will be responsible for managing on-site project tasks, team members, project material, and project documentation. An ideal SCS Forman has 5+ years of experience in the low-voltage space. Project tasks include but are not limited to pulling, supporting, terminating, and testing category, coax, and fiber cable as well as installing cable/ladder tray, grounding, racks in MDFs/IDFs, and managing teams of technicians. The SCS Foreman should have or possess the ability to pass BICSI Technician Level and manufacture certifications courses.

Working in concert with our SCS Foreman and SCS Lead Technician, the SCS Technician II is an on-site technical person. Lead Security Technician

The Lead Security Technician installs, programs, tests, and troubleshoots complex electronic security systems for the company’s customers in the commercial market. The technician will follow the direction of the assigned Project Manager to complete all installation work for security projects.

Essential Functions:

o Lead the installation and programming efforts on project sites.

o Direct installation technicians on the proper techniques for proper installation.

o Installation of security devices and cabling at customer sites.

o Programming of electronic security devices.

o Troubleshooting of complex integrated security systems.

o Read and understand scopes of work and drawings.

Warehouse and Material Delivery Coordinator 

The Warehouse and Material Delivery Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the timely and safe delivery of materials and equipment for project execution. This individual will work closely with the warehouse manager to accept and sort deliveries of materials. This person will state all materials associated with jobs and schedule with team leads for the delivery of all necessary materials and tooling required for successful project commencement.

Qualifications & Skills:

o Ability to operate a forklift or be able to pass the necessary operational requirements.

o Ability to multi-task.

o Strong organizational and communication skills.

o Capable of lifting 75lbs.

o Pays close attention to detail.

Daily Tasks:

This individual will report daily to the warehouse manager for a list of daily duties. These duties will include but not be limited to:

o Checking in deliveries as they arrive. It is important to note that it is the duty of this individual to inspect the deliveries for damage. These materials will need to be stored in appropriate areas awaiting delivery.

o Keeping the warehouse orderly and clean for a safe work environment. 

o Ensuring weekly that the appropriate levels of consumables are properly ordered and stocked for use.

o Assisting with the quarterly inventory count in the warehouse.

o Outside of the onsite warehouse work, the candidate for this job will also be responsible for making pre-determined, scheduled equipment deliveries to job sites. Once on-site, this person will be responsible for making sure that the job site foreman takes delivery of all materials and tools necessary for their job site.
